The Hampstead School Board has voted to modify the 2011-12 school calendar. Please note that Friday, February 24, 2012 will be an early release school day for students in full day Kindergarten and Grades 1 through 8. There WILL be classes for AM Preschool; however, there will be NO school for half day Kindergarten (both AM & PM) and PM Preschool.Furthermore, with four school closures to date (due to inclement weather) the last day for students as of the date of this notice is Tuesday, June 19, 2012. This date may change in the event of additional school closures.The School District will contact all parents/guardians to inform them of these changes through the Alert-Now phone messaging system. A revised school calendar is printed on the reverse side of this notice and is posted on the school district website.You may direct any questions or concerns about these changes to the building principal.

The Hampstead School District announces the following Elected Official vacancies beginning March 2012. Residents may file for candidacy at the Superintendent's Office, 30 Greenough Road, Plaistow, NH (M-F 8:30am-4pm) or with Nancy Lacasse, District Clerk at Hampstead Central School (8am-4pm).
Filing Period:
Wednesday, January 25th to Friday, February 3rd at 5:00 p.m.
